See what our guests love about the Newbury Guest House.

We spent three nights at the Newbury Guest House and loved it!! It is conveniently located in the middle of Newbury Street which is a very upscale residential and retail area with many great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A short walk to the T (subway) or bus and trolley stops. Trinity Church and the Prudential Center (skywalk) as well as the gorgeous Boston Public Library are also close by. Our room was comfortable and well-maintained. We highly recommend the NGH and we would definitely stay there again. Oh, and they provide a lovely little breakfast in the bistro. Good stuff!

We made reservations here based on the advice of good friends and we’re very glad we took their advice. Less expensive than most hotels and far more “homey.” Our room was the largest in the guest house — overlooking Newbury Street and all the action — shoppers, diners, tourists, etc. Excellent complimentary breakfast, great staff. A short walk to Copley Square and the “T” — and to the Public Garden and Boston Common. Good restaurants nearby, great shopping if that’s what you’re into. We’ll go back whenever we go to Beantown!

The Newbury Guest House is a small boutique hotel, centrally located, within walking distance to the best eateries and shops. It is clean and comfortable. Highly recommend it. Close to the Boston Marathon finish line. Free breakfast in the morning, quiet at night and a friendly and well informed staff. If and when we return to Boston, this is our first choice of lodging.

Excellent location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. a few blocks away from Copley Plaza and Boston Common. Lovely small room but with all the amenities. Fabulous breakfast included. Friendly staff. Will definitely stay there when we return to Boston.

My girlfriend and I stayed for 5 nights in this lovely property; the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The location is very convenient for people looking to shop and visit nearby tourist attractions as there were plenty of amenities and high-end shops nearby, while the nearest “T” station was a short walk away on Copley Square. The street and nearby areas are very safe for tourists and the locals were incredibly helpful (one even said he was helping because of my Irish accent!) Our room was a King Room with a bay-window overlooking Newbury St. The room and HUGE bed were very comfortable.

Great from booking in until the time we left. Rooms were spotless although I don’t know how they did it as the staff were so discreet we never saw them. Reception staff couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was good and as much as you like...I can’t wait to go back. The hotel is in a vibrant part of Boston in a wonderful building surrounded by some fabulous restaurants and shops.

The staff is totally awesome and so helpful. My daughter and I were first-time visitors to Boston and their suggestions made our trip so much easier to enjoy. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the service excellent. My daughter spent hours visiting all of the shops in Back Bay. I found the food and drink options more than plentiful.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days for the fourth of July weekend. The location is great, only a few blocks from the T and tons of restaurants and shops around. It was an easy walk to the Skywalk, duck tours, public library, and logan express. The Newbury Guest House was very quiet, clean and friendly- the three things I look for in a good hotel. One of my favorite amenities was the breakfast. Each morning they offered real eggs (both scrambled and poached), bacon, sausage, mixed fruit, croissants, OJ and coffee.
