Rooms
The Bay Window Room is the most spacious, romantic and elegant room type. The main feature is its bay window alcove which provides for cozy seating. Adorned with ornamental details suggestive of a well-to-do Victorian lifestyle, these rooms contain period features that range from ceiling medallions to crown molding, and original fireplaces. In addition, all rooms have hardwood or original parquet floors and hand selected oriental rugs. Furniture includes a queen size sleigh or finial poster bed, a loveseat, a sitting table with chairs, a highboy dresser and bedside nightstand with reading lamps.
The Midsize Room is the most popular room type among many of the hotel's regulars. Oversized windows provide ample natural light and some rooms have skylights. Midsize rooms retain much of the buildings' original architectural and structural nuances, noted by their unique footprint and varying design elements. All midsize rooms contain a queen size sleigh or finial poster bed, nightstands with reading lamps, a period dresser, and may include a desk or a loveseat.
The Best Value Room is the most efficient and economical room type. One of the best bargains in the City, this room is ideal for the single traveler or for a one-night stay. This room contains a queen size bed, armchair, and dresser, and the bathroom has a standing shower.
